parcelpump.dev — open parcel-data infrastructure
For counties
You're here because you saw parcelpump/ in an access log, or because someone forwarded you the link. Here's who we are, what we pull, and how to make it stop if you'd rather we didn't.
Who we are
parcelpump is an open parcel-data infrastructure project for the United States. We pull parcel polygons + assessor records from county portals (the same records you publish for public access) and serve them as a unified API + vector tiles for downstream apps — agricultural targeting, ownership-graph analysis, civic-transparency tools, real-estate research.
Today we cover ~24 vendor families across ~900 counties. Browse the catalog →
What we pull
- ● Parcel polygons + APN + situs address + owner_name + assessed value + zoning / land-use class — the public-record fields on the assessor card.
- ● Sale history when published. Tax-statement / payment-due-date metadata when published.
- ● Not: SSNs, parcel-owner phone / email, anything behind a login wall, anything we'd need a subpoena to see.
How we identify ourselves
Every outbound HTTP request from the parcelpump scrapers carries this User-Agent suffix:
parcelpump/1.0 (+https://parcelpump.dev/for-counties; ops@parcelpump.dev)
Block by substring parcelpump/ in your WAF and we stop showing up. We won't try to evade a block.
Cadence
We pull each county's assessor data on the cadence published in our catalog — /data shows you the per-county refresh schedule. No county is pulled more than nightly; most are weekly or monthly. Bulk export customers download from our snapshots — they don't re-pull your portal.
